Bunok Kravitz began the Conscious Life Change 40-Day Program on September 1, 2007 when she came to realize that there were so many people looking for change but didn’t quite know what to do to make it happen. Her main goal was to bring focus to mind/body/spirit integration through a daily practice of meditation, yoga asana and being kind to the body through healthy eating. Her program has since blossomed into ongoing weekly classes, workshops and retreats.
All classes begin with a 15 minute guided meditation focused on breath work and body awareness. Meditation is then followed by an asana practice that varies from entire stretch classes to more vigorous vinyasa flow. All levels are welcome and she spends time working through the postures for optimal understanding of one’s body.
Being born in NYC to a Korean mother and Polish American father, she truly was raised where East meets West. She was brought up learning about the medicinal properties in food and herbs, as well as eastern healing modalities and movement. At age 6, she began studying ballet with Elfriede Merman of the Manhattan Ballet and continued her study of dance into her early 20’s. She discovered yoga in 1996 in NYC and made the practice a part of her lifestyle in 2004.
Through Conscious Life Change, Bunok's intention is to reflect as much joy outwardly as she experiences inwardly.
Namaste.
